About the Role: Food & Consumables Team Associate

This position is centred on maintaining the food and consumables section of the store. You’ll be responsible for zoning shelves, tables, and bunkers so merchandise stays organized and easy to find. A key part of the job involves rotating stock, checking for expired items, and making sure everything is signed and priced correctly for customers.

There’s also an important food safety compliance component to this role. You’ll follow Walmart’s standards for cold chain compliance, thermometer calibrations, temperature recording, and product rotation — ensuring that all food and consumable items meet health and safety requirements before they reach customers.

Benefits and Salary

The minimum rate of pay for this position starts from $16.15 per hour. • Adhere to standards for cold chain compliance, thermometer calibrations, temperature recording, and food handling
• Monitor sell-by dates and expiration dates to ensure no out-of-date product remains on the floor
• Follow proper procedures for ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing, flagging, pricing, and labels
• Deliver exemplary customer service in line with Walmart’s core beliefs and values
