About the Role: Food & Consumables Team Associate

As a Food & Consumables Team Associate, your main focus is on maintaining a well-organized department that meets both customer expectations and Walmart’s internal standards. From zoning shelves and bunkers to rotating stock and verifying expiry dates, you play a direct role in ensuring shoppers can trust the products they pick up.

Following Walmart’s cold chain compliance protocols is a key part of the job. You’ll be responsible for temperature recording, thermometer calibrations, and proper food handling — all of which are essential in maintaining food safety across the department. Working as part of a team, you’ll also support ordering, clearance processes, and proper signage and pricing.

The minimum rate of pay for this position starts at $16.15 per hour. Responsibilities

Day-to-day work in the food and consumables department involves a mix of customer-facing interactions and behind-the-scenes tasks to keep the department running efficiently.
