Walmart Canada’s Winnipeg location on Taylor Avenue is looking for a Fashion Associate to join their in-store team. In this role, you’ll be right on the salesfloor — processing and stocking fashion merchandise, maintaining displays, and making sure customers can find what they’re looking for. It’s hands-on work that blends customer service with merchandising responsibilities across shifting schedules.

As a Fashion Associate at Walmart Canada, your primary focus is ensuring the fashion department is well-stocked, visually organized, and customer-ready at all times. You’ll process incoming merchandise, maintain modular and signage integrity, and execute seasonal arrangements as part of a collaborative team. Every task you take on directly shapes the shopping experience for Winnipeg customers.

Beyond stocking shelves, you’ll be expected to uphold safety standards, maintain a clean and hazard-free environment, and follow company procedures including safety sweep logs. Teamwork and communication are central to how this role functions — you’ll coordinate with colleagues to plan and complete daily priorities efficiently.

Benefits and Salary

The minimum rate of pay for this position starts at $16.15 per hour. Responsibilities

Working as a Fashion Associate means balancing customer-facing interactions with behind-the-scenes merchandising tasks. From greeting shoppers and helping them find products to stocking shelves and setting up seasonal displays, every part of the job contributes to a smooth, well-run fashion department.

• Greet and assist all customers in a polite, friendly manner — helping them locate merchandise, promoting products and services, and resolving concerns where appropriate
• Process and stock all incoming fashion merchandise accurately and in a timely manner
• Merchandise non-modular fashion items and ensure proper signage is used as the modular dictates
• Replenish seasonal merchandise and execute seasonal arrangements as part of a coordinated team effort
• Maintain a clean, tidy, and organized salesfloor to create a positive shopping environment
• Ensure proper fixtures and supplies are in use and replaced when necessary
• Uphold a safe and hazard-free work environment through adherence to company policies, including completing safety sweep logs and securing displays and fixtures
