As a Fashion Associate, you’ll play an active role in processing and stocking fashion merchandise, maintaining a clean and welcoming salesfloor, and delivering exceptional customer service every shift. About the Role: Fashion Associate

This position is all about keeping the fashion department running smoothly. You’ll process and stock merchandise, ensure proper signage and fixtures are in place, and merchandise both modular and non-modular fashion items. Keeping the salesfloor tidy and executing seasonal arrangements are key parts of the day-to-day work.

Beyond stocking duties, you’ll be a go-to resource for customers — greeting them warmly, helping them find products, and resolving concerns when they arise. You’ll also contribute to a safe and hazard-free work environment by following Walmart’s policies and completing required safety checks.

Benefits and Salary

The minimum starting rate of pay for this position is $17.75 per hour. Walmart Canada also offers a solid benefits package that includes a store discount, deferred profit sharing, life insurance, paid time off, comprehensive benefits, stock options, and access to the Live Better U education program. Eligibility for certain benefits is based on hours worked and employment status. The EQ Health wellness program is also available to associates.

Responsibilities

Day to day, a Fashion Associate at Walmart is responsible for keeping the department stocked, organized, and customer-ready. From processing incoming merchandise to executing seasonal layouts, these tasks directly impact the customer shopping experience and the overall performance of the store.

• Greet and assist customers in a polite and friendly manner, helping them locate merchandise and make informed purchase decisions
• Process and stock all fashion merchandise efficiently and accurately
• Merchandise non-modular fashion items and ensure displays align with company standards
• Maintain proper signage as dictated by the modular plan
• Replenish seasonal merchandise in a timely manner to meet customer demand
• Ensure proper fixtures and supplies are used and replaced as needed
• Keep the salesfloor area clean, tidy, and safe for customers at all times
• Adhere to company safety policies, complete safety sweep logs, and ensure displays and fixtures are secure

Requirements / Skills

Walmart is looking for candidates who are reliable, flexible, and customer-focused.
