Amazon Web Services Canada is on the hunt for a seasoned Enterprise Sales Leader to take charge of cloud and AI growth across Canada’s most complex enterprise organizations. Based in Toronto, Ontario, this is a senior leadership role within AWS Canada’s Amazon Global Sales (AGS) team, with visibility at the highest levels of the organization — reporting directly to the Managing Director of AWS Canada.
This role spans multiple high-impact industry verticals including Telecom, Media & Entertainment, Games & Sports, Manufacturing, Automotive, Energy & Utilities, and Retail & Consumer Packaged Goods. You’ll lead account teams, shape enterprise strategy, and help Canada’s largest organizations adopt cloud, AI/ML, and agentic AI solutions at scale.
About the Role: Enterprise Sales Leader
At the core of this position is driving revenue growth and market share for the AWS Enterprise Industry segment across Canada. You’ll build and manage a high-performing team of sales leaders and account managers, each focused on specific industry verticals. From winning large and complex deals to building long-term C-suite relationships, you’ll be accountable for the full commercial success of your segment — including quarterly revenue targets across all verticals.
Beyond leading your own segment, you’ll be a key contributor to the broader AWS Canada Senior Leadership Team, participating in cross-functional strategic planning, mentoring leaders across the organization, and representing AWS Canada externally. The ability to lead and influence across teams without direct reporting authority will be essential in this heavily matrixed environment.
Benefits and Salary
This position offers a base salary range of $176,000 to $293,900 CAD annually for the Toronto location. As a total compensation role, the package may also include sign-on payments, Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), and sales incentives. AWS also provides a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, vision, prescription, and basic life & AD&D), a Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP), a Deferred Profit Sharing Plan (DPSP), paid time off, and additional resources to support health and well-being.

Responsibilities
This role carries significant commercial and strategic weight across some of Canada’s largest enterprise accounts. Day-to-day, the Enterprise Sales Leader is responsible for everything from revenue performance and team development to executive relationship management and go-to-market execution across multiple industry verticals.
- Own and drive overall revenue and market share growth for the AWS Enterprise Industry business across Canada, spanning TMEGS, Manufacturing, Automotive, Energy & Utilities, and Retail & CPG
- Lead, develop, and inspire a team of account managers covering their respective industry verticals
- Ensure customer satisfaction and long-term retention across the full Enterprise Industry portfolio
- Win large and complex deals by increasing share of wallet with key strategic customers in alignment with AGS/AWS leadership
- Meet or exceed quarterly revenue targets across all Enterprise industry segments
- Support Enterprise customers in cloud migration, digital transformation, and adoption of modern DevOps practices
- Develop and execute a comprehensive Enterprise Industry business plan for the Canadian market, with segment-specific strategies for each vertical
- Build and maintain long-term C-level relationships (CEO, CIO, CTO, CDO) with key accounts across all verticals
- Collaborate cross-functionally with AGS Canada leadership, Partners, Solution Architects, and Customer Solutions Managers to align go-to-market strategy and resource allocation
- Contribute to AWS Canada Senior Leadership Team priorities including strategic planning, mentoring, and external representation
Requirements / Skills
This is a senior leadership role that requires a candidate with deep roots in the Canadian enterprise technology market. The ideal person brings a proven track record of building and scaling high-performing sales organizations while maintaining strong executive relationships across multiple industries.
- 15+ years of experience in Enterprise technology sales, including at least 5 years in a leadership role managing sales teams
- Proven revenue track record of consistently meeting or exceeding targets in enterprise accounts
- Cloud technology experience selling IaaS, PaaS, or SaaS solutions to enterprise customers
- AI/ML solution adoption experience, including driving cloud-based AI initiatives with large enterprise organizations
- Executive relationship-building skills with demonstrated ability to close large revenue engagements at the C-suite level
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills — verbal, written, analytical, and presentation
- Experience negotiating complex deals with enterprise customers and partners
- Preferred: experience in engineering, computer science, or MIS, and familiarity with matrixed, cross-functional sales environments
- Preferred: established network of executive relationships within the Canadian enterprise market
