About the Role: Driver G

As a Driver G at DHL Express Ottawa, you’ll be responsible for completing assigned deliveries and pick-ups within tight time constraints while maintaining a high standard of customer service. Responsibilities

The Driver G role at DHL Express Ottawa blends delivery driving with active warehouse support. Each day brings a mix of customer-facing deliveries and behind-the-scenes logistics work — both of which are essential to keeping DHL’s operations running on time and to standard.

  • Drive a delivery van to complete assigned parcel deliveries and pick-ups across Ottawa within scheduled time windows
  • Lift and carry parcels up to 70 lbs per piece throughout the entire shift
  • Scan and process freight according to DHL’s agreed procedures and security policies
  • Sort and process inbound material accurately and by established deadlines
  • Move freight within the warehouse area as required
  • Assist the Tracing Department with thorough warehouse checks for missorts and on-hand items
  • Perform accurate reporting on all relevant tasks and shipment handling
  • Participate in warehouse organization and clean-up to maintain a tidy, efficient workspace
  • Maintain a safe and cooperative work environment in line with DHL’s safety standards
  • Meet all security requirements as outlined by the shift supervisor

Requirements / Skills
