About the Role: Directs Store Delivery Associate
As a Directs Store Delivery Associate, you’ll be responsible for coordinating and processing direct and local merchandise deliveries, including OMNI orders, alcohol, and warehouse trailer shipments. You’ll ensure that products reach the sales floor efficiently and on time — which directly supports the customer shopping experience and store performance.
This role also involves compliance with safety procedures, key control standards, and cold chain protocols. You’ll work closely with the Operations Manager and Office Support Associate, help train fellow associates, and be ready to adapt your schedule across mornings, afternoons, evenings, nights, and weekends as business needs require.

Responsibilities
Day to day, a Directs Store Delivery Associate at Walmart Truro covers a wide range of receiving and logistics tasks that keep store operations on track. - Secure and manage high-ticket merchandise in designated locations following Company procedures

- Maintain the receiving area by organizing returns, claims, and MTRs, and completing all required documentation accurately
- Follow safe work practices, including proper lifting techniques and correct use of box cutters, pallet jacks, ladders, and other equipment
- Collaborate with the Operations Manager and Office Support Associate to identify and resolve receiving discrepancies
- Safeguard backdoor access and key controls in compliance with Company security guidelines
- Apply cold chain procedures and document required temperature information using the Receiving Temperature Log or Sure Check App
- Train and support fellow Directs Store Delivery Associates to maintain consistent adherence to receiving processes
