Dairy Frozen Associate – Walmart – Waterloo, ON
Waterloo’s Walmart location on Farmers Market Road is looking for a Dairy Frozen Associate to join their in-store team. About the Role: Dairy Frozen Associate
As a Dairy Frozen Associate, your primary focus is making sure the department runs smoothly and that customers can always find fresh, quality products. You’ll handle stocking and stock rotation, check for expired items, maintain proper zoning, and support merchandising and promotional displays. Accuracy in pricing and labelling is part of the daily routine, as is following all ordering and clearance procedures.
This role also carries real responsibility around food safety and cold chain compliance. You’ll conduct temperature checks, calibrate thermometers, and follow strict sanitation and cleaning procedures. Working as part of a collaborative team, you’ll also be expected to keep your work area safe and hazard-free in line with Walmart’s Health and Safety guidelines. Flexibility across morning, afternoon, evening, and overnight shifts — including weekends and holidays — is a key part of the role.
Benefits and Salary
This position starts at a minimum rate of $17.75 per hour. Walmart Canada associates also have access to a store discount, EQ Health support, and the Live Better U education program. Responsibilities

- Maintain a safe and clean work area by removing debris and spills and following all Company policies and Health and Safety guidelines
- Work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet store operational needs
- Manage physical demands including standing for extended periods, bending, and lifting up to 20 lbs. regularly and up to 50 lbs. occasionally
