About the Role: Courier Driver Casual

As a Casual Courier Driver, you’ll be responsible for completing assigned deliveries and pickups across Winnipeg while also contributing to warehouse operations between runs. You’ll scan and process freight according to established procedures, sort inbound material by deadlines, and assist with warehouse checks for missorts and on-hands. Accurate reporting is part of the job, as is keeping the warehouse area organized and clean.

Responsibilities

Day-to-day, you’ll split your time between driving deliveries across Winnipeg and supporting warehouse operations. Every task — from scanning freight to sorting inbound material — plays a direct role in keeping DHL’s delivery network running on time and to standard.

  • Drive a company van to complete assigned deliveries and pickups throughout your shift
  • Lift and carry parcels up to 70 lbs per piece for the duration of the shift
  • Scan and process freight in accordance with established procedures and security policies
  • Sort and process inbound material accurately and within deadlines
  • Assist the Tracing Department with thorough warehouse checks for missorts and on-hands
  • Move freight within the warehouse area as required by supervisors
  • Complete accurate reporting and participate in warehouse organization and cleanup
  • Uphold security requirements and contribute to a safe, cooperative work environment

Requirements / Skills

DHL is looking for someone who is dependable, physically capable, and comfortable working in a structured, deadline-driven environment. Strong customer interaction skills and the ability to work well within a team are just as important as technical know-how.

  • Valid Class 5 driver’s licence with a clean driving record — non-negotiable for this role
