Responsibilities
A FedEx Courier’s day is dynamic — you’ll be moving between pickups and deliveries, verifying shipments, and serving customers across your assigned route. Accuracy, efficiency, and professionalism are at the heart of everything you do, ensuring FedEx Canada’s service reputation is upheld at every stop.
- Pick up and deliver packages courteously and efficiently on an assigned route
- Verify shipments to ensure conformance with Federal Express Canada features of service
- Provide customer service functions related to package delivery and pickup interactions
- Lift and manoeuvre packages weighing up to 70 lbs, and up to 150 lbs with appropriate equipment
- Complete pre-placement driver assessment training and all mandatory recurrence training
- Maintain compliance with Canadian Customs regulations and FedEx Canada operational standards
- Adapt to variable schedules, including holidays, based on business needs
Requirements / Skills

- High school diploma or equivalent educational background
- Valid driver’s licence with a good driving record (two or fewer violations/accidents in the past 24 months)
- Physical capability to lift 70 lbs and manoeuvre packages up to 150 lbs with proper equipment
- 1 year of customer-oriented business experience preferred
- Bilingualism (French and English) required for Quebec-based candidates
- Strong time management, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Some knowledge of FedEx Canada operations and Canadian Customs regulations is an asset
