Consumables Associate – Walmart – Trois-Rivières, QC

Walmart Canada is looking for a Consumables Associate to join their team at the Trois-Rivières location on Boul Des Récollets. About the Role: Consumables Associate

As a Consumables Associate at Walmart Canada, your primary focus is on the flow of consumable merchandise through the store. You’ll stock and process products, zone assigned sections of the salesfloor, and help ensure that displays are fully stocked and neatly organized. You’ll also be responsible for relocating feature items to their primary modules and returning merchandise left at the customer service counter back to the correct areas of the store.

Maintaining a safe, clean, and obstacle-free work environment is a key part of this role. You’ll follow company procedures, complete security sweep logs, and ensure that product displays and security devices are properly secured. Supporting your fellow associates to maintain cashier coverage is also part of the day-to-day teamwork expected in this position.

The minimum rate of pay for this position starts at $18.75 per hour. Responsibilities

Working as a Consumables Associate means you’re the backbone of the salesfloor — keeping product flowing, shelves stocked, and customers happy. These responsibilities span both customer-facing interactions and behind-the-scenes store operations, making it a varied and active role throughout every shift.

• Deliver excellent customer service by welcoming shoppers warmly, promoting products and services, helping locate merchandise, and assisting with purchase decisions
• Cover one or more designated sections of the salesfloor to ensure proper product availability and presentation at all times
• Zone assigned areas to maintain a tidy, organized, and shoppable store environment
• Relocate feature items to their main display modules as required
• Return misplaced merchandise from the customer service counter and other store areas back to the correct locations
• Support cashier coverage and communicate with fellow associates to ensure the checkout area is properly staffed
• Stock, process, and unstock merchandise; install security devices on products as needed; set up and fill modules including flex modules and new shelving
• Contribute to a safe and clean workplace by following all company procedures, completing security sweep logs, and ensuring displays are properly secured
