About the Role: Cashier Part Time Evening

As a Cashier at Loblaws, your primary focus is delivering an efficient and friendly in-store shopping experience. You’ll be scanning products, processing transactions accurately, and assisting customers with general inquiries — all while keeping your register area neat and well-stocked. The role also involves supporting company-directed promotions and programs, and handling liquor products, including stocking shelves and processing related sales at the cash register.

You’ll be expected to maintain a welcoming store environment, communicate clearly with both customers and colleagues, and adapt to varying situations throughout your shift. Candidates who are 18 years or older will be required to complete a criminal background check as part of the application process.

This is a unionized position, and pay rates are set out in the applicable collective bargaining agreement. The hiring range is $17.60 – $27.44 per hour, with the stated range representing the starting scale for this role. Responsibilities

Day to day, a Loblaws Cashier is the face of the store — the last point of contact before a customer heads home. Accuracy at the register, a genuine willingness to help, and a tidy workspace all contribute directly to the customer experience and the smooth operation of the front end.

• Provide great customer service through friendly, helpful interactions at the register

Requirements / Skills
