Business Strategy Advisor, Healthcare – Amazon Web Services – Toronto, ON
Location: Toronto, ON | Company: Amazon
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for a sharp, strategic thinker to step into a high-impact role at the intersection of healthcare and public sector cloud technology. Based in Toronto, Ontario, this Business Strategy Advisor position sits within the Canada Public Sector team and serves as the operational and strategic backbone to the Healthcare & Alliance Leader. If you’re someone who thrives on turning complex business challenges into clear, executable plans — this role was built for you.
Working at AWS Canada, you’ll be deeply embedded in both the healthcare sales and public sector partner sales business units, shaping strategy, driving rhythm-of-business activities, synthesizing cross-functional insights, and representing leadership across the organization. This isn’t a supporting role — it’s a force-multiplier position where your fingerprints will be on the decisions that move the business forward.
About the Role: Business Strategy Advisor, Healthcare
As a Business Strategy Advisor, you’ll serve as a trusted extension of the Healthcare and Public Sector Alliance Leader, translating strategic priorities into actionable plans and ensuring follow-through at every level. From designing the business operating cadence to authoring executive-ready narratives and conducting market assessments, your work will span a broad range of high-stakes activities across two distinct teams.
You’ll lead and influence without direct authority — collaborating with account teams, partners, marketing, finance, and global stakeholders to drive cross-functional initiatives from concept through to execution. Whether you’re modeling business scenarios, managing pipeline reviews, or navigating organizational ambiguity, you’ll be expected to maintain momentum and deliver clear outcomes. This role demands someone equally comfortable in the boardroom and deep in the data.
Benefits and Salary
This position offers a base salary range of $91,600 to $153,100 CAD annually for the Toronto location, with total compensation potentially including sign-on payments and Restricted Stock Units (RSUs). Amazon also provides a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance (medical, dental, vision, prescription, and basic life & AD&D), a Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP), a Deferred Profit Sharing Plan (DPSP), paid time off, and additional resources to support health and well-being. Final compensation will be based on experience, qualifications, and location.
