This is a physical, fast-paced position based out of 2900 Steeles Avenue West, Concord. You’ll be out on the road each afternoon delivering and picking up packages across your route — no two days are exactly the same. Shifts run 4 to 5 hours per day, Monday through Friday starting at 2:00 PM, making it a solid fit for those who prefer afternoons or are looking to supplement other commitments.

About the Role: Bid Air Driver

As a Package Delivery Driver with UPS, your primary focus is the efficient and accurate delivery and pickup of packages throughout your assigned area. You’ll operate a UPS vehicle while applying the company’s safe and defensive driving methods, navigate routes using GPS and maps, and interact directly with customers at each stop. Physical stamina is essential — packages typically weigh 25 to 35 lbs. and can reach up to 70 lbs.

UPS drivers are also expected to represent the company professionally at all times. That means adhering to appearance guidelines, wearing the company-provided vest and uniform, and maintaining accurate records of delivered packages. You’ll also assist with loading and unloading trucks as needed. This role is covered under a Union Collective Agreement, which provides structured wage progression and a range of employee protections.

This position starts at $19.00 per hour, with guaranteed wage progression through the Union Collective Agreement up to $30.38 per hour after 48 months of service. You’ll receive weekly pay via direct deposit every Friday, paid training, and overtime opportunities. After one year of service, employees become eligible for extended health care benefits including vision, dental, life insurance, and health coverage, as well as a pension plan and paid vacation (starting at 2 weeks, scaling up to 6 weeks after 25 years). Requirements / Skills
