About the Role: Baker

As a Baker at Tim Hortons Courtenay, you’ll be responsible for mixing, baking, and finishing a variety of products including breads and rolls, desserts and pastries, and donuts and muffins. You’ll prepare special orders, frost and decorate cakes and baked goods, and ensure every product leaving the kitchen meets quality benchmarks. Responsibilities

Working in a high-volume bake shop and café, the Baker plays a central role in producing Tim Hortons’ signature baked goods each day. From mixing batters and baking dough to decorating finished products, the scope of this role covers both production and team leadership.

  • Bake mixed dough and batters to produce breads, rolls, donuts, muffins, desserts, and pastries
  • Prepare special orders and ensure products are finished to standard
  • Frost and decorate cakes and baked goods with precision and care
  • Train staff in food preparation, cooking techniques, and safe food handling
  • Supervise 1 to 2 baking and kitchen personnel during shifts
