About the Role: Licensed Audiologist
As a Dispensing Audiologist, your primary focus will be conducting comprehensive hearing assessments and determining the most appropriate course of action for each member — whether that’s recommending a hearing instrument, providing a referral, or counselling them through their options. You’ll manage all stages of the hearing aid dispensing process, including evaluations, fittings, verification, and validation of hearing instrument performance.

Responsibilities
The day-to-day work of this role centres on delivering professional audiological care to Costco members. From conducting hearing assessments to fitting and verifying hearing instruments, you’ll be responsible for the complete clinical journey — all while upholding the highest standards of member service and clinical accuracy.
- Conduct comprehensive hearing assessments including history taking, air and bone conduction thresholds, and speech testing for the purpose of hearing aid dispensing
- Perform all hearing aid dispensing procedures including evaluations, recommendations, fittings, verification, and validation of hearing instrument performance
- Carry out impression taking, shell repair, and modification as required
- Adhere to all infection control, privacy, and confidentiality standards in every clinical interaction
- Maintain thorough and accurate clinical records and documentation
- Stay informed on all products and services offered through the hearing centre
- Collaborate with support personnel to ensure appropriate allocation of work tasks
- Assist in other areas of the warehouse when necessary
Requirements / Skills
This role is designed for a fully qualified Dispensing Audiologist who brings both clinical expertise and strong interpersonal skills to the table. - Master’s Degree in Audiology with all qualifications required to dispense hearing aids in Ontario
- Registration (or eligibility for registration) with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO)
- Clinical experience in audiology is preferred
- Attention to detail and technical aptitude when conducting assessments and managing hearing instruments
- Strong organizational and time management skills to handle a steady member caseload effectively
- Excellent communication and counselling skills for guiding members through their hearing health decisions
- Proficiency with computers for documentation, records management, and hearing instrument software
