As a Demand Generation Representative (DGR), you’ll work at the top of the sales funnel, conducting high-quality account research, sourcing new contacts, and executing outbound prospecting campaigns. You’ll partner closely with Account Teams to develop a deep understanding of the industries and personas within your territories, building relationships from technical admins all the way up to executive leadership.

Benefits and Salary

The base salary range for this position in Toronto, ON is $50,700 to $84,600 CAD annually. As a total compensation company, Amazon’s package may also include sign-on payments, Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), and sales incentives where applicable. Amazon offers comprehensive benefits including health insurance (medical, dental, vision, prescription, and basic life & AD&D), a Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP), Deferred Profit Sharing Plan (DPSP), paid time off, and additional resources to support health and well-being.

Responsibilities

Day-to-day, this role centres on pipeline generation and customer engagement — from sourcing new contacts at scale to qualifying opportunities and collaborating with account teams. The work is fast-paced and requires both technical acumen and strong communication skills to connect with customers at every level of an organization.

  • Conduct high-volume prospecting via one-to-many and one-to-one outbound campaigns, as well as qualifying inbound leads from marketing and partner channels
  • Source net new contacts through high-quality account research to expand pipeline within assigned territories
  • Partner with Account Teams to understand key industries, accounts, and personas, and to ensure opportunities are clearly defined with next steps
  • Track activity and manage pipeline accurately using Salesforce CRM and self-service reporting tools
  • Achieve all input and output goals including contacts sourced, leads qualified, customer calls completed, meetings scheduled, and opportunities created
  • Expand services breadth and consumption within the existing customer base through account planning and territory management
  • Uncover customer needs by using effective communication and technical knowledge to understand critical business challenges and objectives
  • Develop creative engagement strategies to build new customer relationships and deepen existing ones

Requirements / Skills
