About the Role: Assistant Team Leader
As an Assistant Team Leader at Dollarama in Dartmouth, you’ll have your hands in nearly every aspect of store operations. Responsibilities
Day-to-day, the Assistant Team Leader keeps the store running on all cylinders. You’ll juggle everything from receiving and stocking shipments to handling customer concerns and supporting the management team — all while setting a strong example for the rest of the crew.
- Assist the management team in overseeing store operations and staff
- Box and unbox daily shipments efficiently and accurately
- Stock shelves daily in compliance with Dollarama’s presentation standards
- Provide customer service and resolve customer issues as they arise
- Contribute to store safety and cleanliness standards compliance
- Conduct manager-on-duty tasks including managing daily breaks and entering attendance records
- Perform cash management and store opening and closing duties as needed
- Participate in the employee training process for new team members
Requirements / Skills
Dollarama is looking for someone who already has a feel for retail and has taken on a leadership role before. The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, and customer-focused — someone who can keep their cool and take charge when the store gets busy.
- Approximately one year of relevant experience in the retail industry
