When the Store Manager is unavailable, you’ll step up as the Manager on Duty, taking full responsibility for store operations.

Benefits and Salary

This Assistant Store Manager position at Dollarama in Whitby offers a pay range of $19.30 to $20.30 per hour. The schedule will be determined based on store operational needs, with availability required for days, evenings, and weekends, working 40–50 hours weekly.

• Uphold merchandising standards by ensuring established practices are consistently followed throughout the store

Requirements / Skills

• Minimum two (2) years of experience in the retail industry
• Team management experience with the ability to lead, motivate, and guide staff
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage priorities effectively
• Solid communication and leadership skills to interact with staff and customers alike
• Flexibility to work days, evenings, and weekends based on store operational needs
• Availability to work 40–50 hours weekly and willingness to travel within the assigned region if needed
• Physical capability to work with ladders, perform up-and-down movements, and handle heavy lifting
• Legal authorization to work in Canada
