This isn’t a typical account management position. You’ll be working with C-suite executives and technical leaders at leading Canadian financial institutions, shaping how they think about cloud strategy and building meaningful, long-term partnerships. You’ll own a greenfield territory, which means the growth potential here is substantial — and so is your impact.

About the Role: Account Manager – Greenfield, Financial Services

In this role, you’ll serve as a trusted advisor and strategic seller to financial services organizations across Canada. Your day might begin with a briefing for a Chief Information Officer at a major bank, connecting their modernization roadmap to AWS capabilities around mainframe transformation and data platform innovation. From there, you could be collaborating with Solutions Architects to design a proof-of-concept for a wealth management platform exploring generative AI adoption, or working alongside Specialists to address complex security and compliance requirements.

You’ll develop tailored territory coverage plans across financial services sub-verticals including banking, insurance, capital markets, and fintech. Cross-functional collaboration is a big part of the job — you’ll work closely with Solutions Architects, AI/ML and Security Specialists, and Customer Success Managers to ensure seamless post-sale transitions and long-term customer outcomes. Moderate travel throughout Canada is expected to support customer meetings, executive briefings, and industry events.
