About the Role: UI Engineer (Web), Apple Services Engineering

As a UI Engineer on the App Store Connect team, your day-to-day centres on building performant, reusable front-end features and components within a sophisticated large-scale web application. You’ll work across the full front-end stack — from responsive layouts and browser APIs to state management and accessibility — while participating in code reviews and working within shared repositories through continuous development and deployment cycles.

Collaboration is central to this role. You’ll work closely with Design, Backend, QA, Operations, Project Management, and Product Marketing teams to deliver experiences that meet Apple’s exacting standards for quality, performance, and privacy. The base pay range for this role is $153,700 to $230,500 CAD, with your exact compensation based on skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Beyond base pay, Apple offers a comprehensive total compensation package that includes eligibility for discretionary restricted stock unit (RSU) awards and participation in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP). Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll be hands-on building and maintaining the App Store Connect web platform — a critical tool used by developers across the globe. Your contributions will directly shape how developers interact with Apple’s ecosystem, so attention to detail, code quality, and performance are non-negotiable parts of the job.

  • Build and maintain performant, reusable front-end features and components for the App Store Connect platform
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Design, Backend, QA, Operations, Project Management, and Product Marketing teams
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to shared repositories within regular release cycles
  • Implement responsive layouts with strong attention to accessibility and browser API best practices
  • Contribute to API schema design and integrate REST APIs into front-end features
  • Troubleshoot engineering problems collaboratively and independently across complex, multi-environment systems
  • Maintain high standards for visual quality, privacy, and user experience in line with Apple’s design principles

Requirements / Skills
