About the Role: Technical Consultant

As a Technical Consultant at Apple, you’ll serve as the technical face of the sales team — deeply understanding customer environments and translating that into actionable Apple hardware, software, and services recommendations. You’ll lead pre-sales technical engagements, deliver demonstrations and presentations, and help channel partners build the capabilities they need to drive joint sales outcomes. The role requires up to 35% domestic travel.

Apple offers a base pay range of $129,000 to $247,700 CAD for this role, with your exact pay depending on skills, qualifications, experience, and location. In Ontario, qualified candidates can expect a hiring rate up to the midpoint of the range, with exceptional candidates eligible for up to the maximum. Beyond base pay, Apple employees can participate in discretionary employee stock programs, including restricted stock unit award recommendations and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan offering discounted Apple stock. The total compensation package also includes comprehensive medical and dental coverage, retirement benefits, discounted products, free services, and educational expense reimbursement — including tuition — for career-related learning. This role may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses or commission payments, as well as relocation support.

Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll be the technical bridge between Apple and its enterprise customers and channel partners. Your work will span pre-sales strategy, technical enablement, and relationship management — all aimed at accelerating Apple’s adoption in complex enterprise environments.   • Deliver enablement strategies to integrate Apple into customer IT environments and partners’ product and service offerings
  • Assess partner capabilities regularly and communicate findings to strengthen the overall partner ecosystem
  • Enable partners through every engagement by sharing Apple messaging, best practices, and technical knowledge
  • Support pre-sales activities including qualifying opportunities, overcoming objections, and progressing deals through to closure in collaboration with channel partners
  • Deliver compelling presentations, demonstrations, and seminars tailored to enterprise audiences

Requirements / Skills

  • 8+ years of experience in a customer-facing pre-sales consultative role covering IT infrastructure, networking, security, or enterprise technology
  • Hands-on knowledge of multiple operating systems including Windows, macOS, and iOS/iPadOS
  • Strong pre-sales skills, including qualifying opportunities, overcoming objections, and closing business with channel partners
  • Experience deploying Apple technologies in enterprise environments, including device management and end-user adoption (preferred)
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence cross-functionally and navigate complex organizational structures
  • Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to bring structure and clarity to uncharted situations
