About the Role: Sr. Software Engineer, TestFlight Server

As a senior member of the TestFlight Server team, you’ll take ownership of building and improving backend services that support the full beta testing lifecycle. Your work will touch real users — from the developer uploading a build to the tester submitting feedback — and the systems you build must perform reliably at a global scale with low latency over large datasets.

This isn’t just a heads-down coding role. You’ll be expected to contribute to system architecture decisions, review code across multiple code bases, and share technical guidance with your teammates. Requirements / Skills

The ideal candidate is a well-rounded, performance-savvy Java engineer with hands-on experience in large-scale data systems and a track record of writing clean, maintainable code. • Five or more years of professional experience building and supporting scalable backend applications
• Strong proficiency in Java, object-oriented programming, and design patterns
• Ability to write maintainable, testable code and conduct thorough code reviews

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
• Hands-on experience with NoSQL and relational databases such as Cassandra and Oracle (preferred)
• Deep understanding of HTTP and REST APIs (preferred)
• Familiarity with AI-assisted coding tools and LLMs (preferred)
