Responsibilities
As a Software Developer III on the Site Reliability team, you’ll be writing and reviewing code, debugging complex system issues, and helping shape technical decisions through design reviews. These responsibilities directly support the reliability and performance of services used by millions of people worldwide.
- Write product or system development code that supports large-scale, distributed infrastructure
- Review code developed by other engineers and provide constructive feedback on best practices, including style guidelines, accuracy, testability, and efficiency
- Contribute to existing documentation and educational content, adapting materials based on product updates and user feedback
- Triage and debug product or system issues by analyzing root causes and their impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality
- Participate in or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to evaluate and decide among available technologies
