About the Role: Software Developer III, Full Stack

Responsibilities

This role spans the full software development lifecycle — from defining architecture to maintaining live systems. You’ll be expected to lead with both technical depth and collaborative communication, working across internal teams and external partners to deliver AI-powered customer experience solutions that are reliable, scalable, and impactful.

  • Lead technical engagement and co-development efforts with external partners, ensuring seamless integration of their technologies with Google’s platform
  • Drive end-to-end development of cloud-based contact center software, from architectural design through deployment and operations
  • Collaborate closely with Product Management, UX, and AI research teams to define requirements and deliver AI-powered customer support experiences
  • Apply domain expertise in contact centres, customer support workflows, or Generative AI to guide product direction and navigate complex technical trade-offs
  • Perform in an agile environment to accelerate development and execution in a continuously evolving domain
  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain software solutions while managing project priorities and deadlines

Requirements / Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience

  • 2+ years of software development experience in professional or equivalent settings
  • Proficiency in C/C++ programming
  • Experience with Generative AI or LLMs — particularly in developing AI agents or agentic frameworks — is a strong asset
  • Experience with cloud-based contact centre technologies (e.g., CCaaS platforms, telephony, WebRTC) and customer support operations
  • Track record on complex, cross-functional projects and managing technical collaborations with external partners and vendors
