About the Role: Senior Product Manager, Google Workspace

As a Senior Product Manager on the Google Workspace team, you’ll be responsible for setting the product direction for specific areas within the Workspace suite. Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll operate at a high level of strategic and operational complexity. From shaping product direction to engaging enterprise customers and leading a team of product managers, each responsibility connects directly to Google Workspace’s ability to grow and deliver value at scale.

  • Define the product direction and strategy for product areas within Google Workspace
  • Design and lead the product roadmap by managing goals and investments to scale globally
  • Engage with customers to understand their strategies, end-to-end business processes, pain points, and priorities to inform product strategy and provide transparency into roadmaps
  • Partner closely with Engineering, UX, and other internal Google teams to drive product and delivery success
  • Analyze landscape and industry trends to advance products and drive innovation
  • Foster and facilitate timely decision-making across a broad network of stakeholders, delivery partners, and operational teams
  • Attract, develop, and retain an excellent team of product managers

Requirements / Skills

Google is seeking a candidate with a strong foundation in product management, a track record of launching technical products, and the leadership skills to drive cross-functional teams. The ideal person is equally comfortable setting strategy and rolling up their sleeves to work through ambiguity with data-driven rigour.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 8 years of experience in product management or a related technical role
  • 3 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch (ideation to execution, end-to-end, 0 to 1)
  • Experience driving product direction, go-to-market strategy, and design with data-driven decisions
  • Master’s degree or PhD in a technology or business-related field (preferred)
  • 3 years of people management experience with direct reports (preferred)
  • Experience managing day-to-day technical and design direction, launching successful app products, and developing products with an understanding of current cloud technologies and services (preferred)
  • Excellent communication, technical, and organizational skills with the ability to collaborate and solve ambiguous problems
