About the Role: P/T Preloader

Day-to-day, a UPS Preloader is the backbone of the package flow operation. From the moment packages arrive to when they’re loaded and ready for delivery, your accuracy and efficiency directly impact the entire logistics chain. Here’s what the role involves:

  • Load and unload UPS packages into trailers and package cars efficiently and safely
  • Scan and sort packages accurately, following handling instruction numbers and addresses
  • Learn and apply UPS’s standardized package handling and safe work methods
  • Maintain attention to detail to ensure packages reach the correct destinations
  • Collaborate with teammates to keep operations running smoothly during each shift
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by supervisors as operational needs arise
