About the Role: PT Preloader AM

As a PT Preloader, you’ll be responsible for the loading, unloading, shipping, receiving, scanning, sorting, and stocking of packages within UPS’s Dartmouth facility. You may also operate heavy machinery as part of your duties, all while following UPS’s established package handling methods and safety procedures.

This is a part-time position with shifts ranging from 4 to 8 hours and a minimum guarantee of 3 hours per shift. You’ll work up to 5 days per week, and shift hours may be flexible. Working alongside a dedicated team, you’ll be expected to maintain accuracy, memorize postal codes, and keep up with the demands of a high-volume warehouse operation.

Requirements / Skills

UPS is looking for candidates who are physically capable, dependable, and adaptable. You don’t need a lengthy résumé to get started — but a willingness to work hard and meet the physical demands of a warehouse environment is essential. Warehouse experience is considered an asset.

• Physical fitness: ability to lift packages weighing up to 70 lbs. / 32 kgs.

• Schedule flexibility: available to work flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week
• Warehouse experience: previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred but not required
