Produce Stocker – Walmart – Woodstock, ON

Walmart Canada’s Woodstock location is looking for a Produce Stocker to join its in-store team. Based at 499 Norwich Ave, this is a temporary (fixed-term) position suited for someone who takes pride in keeping a fresh, well-stocked department and delivering a great shopping experience every visit.

Day to day, you’ll be working in the produce department — rotating stock, checking freshness, setting displays, and making sure everything is properly priced and signed. It’s a hands-on, fast-paced role that keeps you moving and contributes directly to how customers experience the store.

About the Role: Produce Stocker

As a Produce Stocker at Walmart Woodstock, your main focus is keeping the produce section clean, organized, and fully stocked at all times. You’ll rotate products to maintain freshness, remove expired items, and ensure every product is correctly priced and signed according to store procedures. Following food safety and cold chain standards — including temperature checks and proper food handling — is a key part of the role.

You’ll also be responsible for stocking and downstocking merchandise, setting modulars and shelf displays, and upholding health and safety guidelines throughout your shift. The role requires flexibility across a range of shifts — including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and nights — and the physical stamina to handle the demands of a busy retail floor.

The minimum rate of pay for this position starts at $18.05 per hour. Responsibilities

• Keep the department organized — maintain a clean, zoned, and customer-ready produce area at all times
• Rotate products regularly and remove expired or low-quality items to ensure freshness and product quality
• Ensure accurate pricing and signage by following proper procedures for labels, markdowns, markups, and clearance
• Follow food safety and cold chain standards, including temperature checks, thermometer use, and compliance with sell-by dates
• Stock and downtstock merchandise as needed, setting modulars, flex modulars, and shelf caps to keep the department full
• Follow all Health and Safety policies to contribute to a safe and clean work environment
• Work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs

Requirements / Skills

Walmart is looking for someone who brings a positive attitude, team spirit, and flexibility to the floor. The ideal candidate is comfortable in a physically demanding, fast-paced retail environment and can handle high-volume tasks with consistency and care.

• Flexibility to work varying shifts including mornings, evenings, nights, and weekends
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, bend, and lift up to 20 lbs. regularly (and up to 50 lbs. occasionally)
• Attention to detail when stocking, zoning, and organizing products to meet store standards
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced environment with competing priorities
