About the Role: Principal Account Manager, ISV Canada
As a Principal Account Manager within AWS Global Sales, your core mandate is to drive revenue growth and cloud adoption across a defined Canadian territory. You’ll engage directly with software developers, IT architects, and executive leadership to develop and execute comprehensive territory and account plans that consistently deliver on quarterly revenue targets.
Collaboration is central to success in this position. Benefits and Salary
The base salary for this Principal Account Manager position ranges from $153,500 to $256,500 CAD annually for the Vancouver, BC location. Amazon’s total compensation package may also include sign-on payments, Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), and sales incentives where applicable, with final compensation determined by experience, qualifications, and location. AWS offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance (medical, dental, vision, prescription, basic life and AD&D), a Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP), Deferred Profit Sharing Plan (DPSP), paid time off, and additional resources to support health and well-being.

Responsibilities
In this senior sales role, you’ll own the full account management lifecycle — from prospecting and pipeline development through to closing large-scale technology deals. - Drive revenue and market share within a defined Canadian territory or industry vertical, meeting or exceeding quarterly targets
- Develop and execute comprehensive account and territory plans aligned to AWS growth objectives
- Create and articulate compelling value propositions around the full suite of AWS cloud services
- Accelerate customer adoption by engaging with stakeholders at all levels, from software developers to C-suite executives
- Maintain a robust sales pipeline and manage all stages of the deal cycle effectively
- Partner with AWS ecosystem partners to extend market reach and drive broader cloud adoption
- Manage contract negotiations for large-scale technology deals
- Develop long-term strategic joint go-to-market relationships with key ISV accounts across Canada
Requirements / Skills
The ideal candidate brings a rare combination of technical fluency and enterprise sales expertise, with a proven track record of closing complex, high-value deals in the cloud or SaaS space. - 10+ years of experience in business development, partner development, sales, or alliances management
- 7+ years of direct sales or business development experience in software, cloud, or SaaS markets, specifically selling to C-level executives

- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience
- Experience with AWS and technology-as-a-service models (IaaS, SaaS, PaaS) is preferred
- Background in high-growth technology companies is a strong asset
