Key Responsibilities
As a Preloader, you will:
- Learn and properly execute UPS package handling methods.
- Load and unload UPS packages into trailers or package cars.
- Utilize heavy machinery (if necessary) to assist with tasks.
- Ensure packages are properly sorted and scanned for tracking purposes.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following qualifications:
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. (32 kgs).
- Ability to read and memorize postal codes.
- Availability to work flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week.
- Preferred: Warehouse experience.
Work Environment
This is a physically demanding job in a fast-paced warehouse environment. You will be required to handle packages, stand and walk for extended periods, and work with various types of equipment. Flexibility is key, as you may be required to work different shifts, including evenings and weekends.
