Responsibilities

- Assist patients at the counter, receive written prescriptions, and retrieve filled prescriptions for pickup

- Support the Pharmacist in updating patient profiles and entering prescription data into the pharmacy computer system, within provincial regulations
- Fill prescriptions by bringing stock bottles, counting, pouring, labelling, and pricing under direct Pharmacist supervision
- Prepare third-party insurance claims, process invoices, and make accounting entries using the computerized system
- Order, receive, and stock prescription drugs, supplies, and over-the-counter merchandise in accordance with merchandising standards
- Maintain department cleanliness through sweeping, mopping, wiping, dusting, and emptying trash
- Answer phones and direct members to product locations with prompt, courteous service
