Costco’s Hearing Centre in Kelowna, BC is looking for a qualified Audiologist or Licensed Hearing Instrument Practitioner to join their team at the 2125 Baron Road location. About the Role: Audiologist / Hearing Instrument Practitioner
As the dispensing clinician at the Costco Hearing Centre, you’ll assess members’ hearing, recommend appropriate instruments, and carry out the full scope of dispensing services. This includes selecting and fitting hearing aids, performing speech testing, taking impressions, and completing shell repairs and modifications. Your clinical judgment will be central to delivering quality outcomes for every member you see.
Beyond direct member care, you’ll be expected to maintain complete and accurate records, follow all infection control and privacy standards, and stay up to date on the products and services offered through the Hearing Centre. Collaboration with warehouse staff and a commitment to member service excellence are key aspects of success in this role.

Responsibilities
The day-to-day work of this role centres on providing comprehensive audiological and dispensing services to Costco members. From initial history taking through to final fitting and validation, you’ll manage the complete clinical journey for each individual you see. Accuracy, professionalism, and a genuine focus on member wellbeing are what drive success here.
- Conduct hearing assessments including history taking, air and bone conduction threshold testing, and speech testing for the purpose of hearing aid dispensing
- Perform full dispensing services including hearing aid evaluations, recommendations, fittings, verification, and validation
- Complete technical procedures such as impression taking, shell repair, and hearing instrument modification
- Adhere strictly to all infection control, privacy, and confidentiality standards
- Maintain thorough records and accurate documentation for all member interactions and clinical procedures
- Stay informed about all products and services available through the Hearing Centre
- Escort members into the hearing testing facility and assist with door access as required
- Provide support in other areas of the warehouse as needed
Requirements / Skills
This role requires a fully qualified dispensing clinician — either a Master’s-level Audiologist or a Registered Hearing Instrument Practitioner with all qualifications to dispense hearing aids in British Columbia. Costco is looking for someone who combines strong technical aptitude with excellent communication and counselling skills to serve members effectively.
- Education: Master’s Degree in Audiology OR registration/licensing as a Hearing Instrument Practitioner in BC
- Licensure: Registered (or eligible for registration) with the relevant regulatory College and/or in good standing with your Provincial Association
- Government funding authorization: Authorized (or eligible) to provide government-funded services where applicable
- Clinical experience: Preferred, though candidates nearing full qualification are encouraged to apply
- Technical aptitude: Strong attention to detail and hands-on clinical skills
