About the Role: Package Handler – Twilight Sort
As a Package Handler at the Winnipeg Hub, your primary focus is the safe and accurate movement of packages through the facility. Responsibilities
Day to day, this role centres on keeping packages moving accurately through the Winnipeg Hub during the Twilight Sort. Every task — from loading to scanning — plays a direct role in making sure shipments reach their destinations on time.
- Learn and apply UPS’s standardized package handling methods and procedures
- Load and unload packages into trailers and package cars efficiently and safely
- Scan and sort packages according to postal codes and delivery routing
- Stock packages in designated areas within the warehouse facility
- Operate heavy machinery as required to support warehouse operations
- Complete additional tasks as assigned in a fast-paced shift environment
Requirements / Skills
This position suits candidates who are physically capable, dependable, and comfortable working evenings on a consistent weekday schedule. UPS values team members who can keep up with the demands of a busy hub operation while maintaining accuracy throughout their shift.
- Availability Monday to Friday for evening shifts between 6:15 PM and 11:15 PM (3–5 hours per shift)

- Flexible availability to work up to 5 days per week as scheduling requires
