About the Role: Package Handler – Night Shift
As a Package Handler, you’ll be working on the floor of UPS’s Brossard facility, moving packages in and out of trailers and package cars. You’ll learn and apply UPS’s standardized package handling methods, use equipment where needed, and keep operations running smoothly during the evening shift. The work is physically demanding but consistent, with approximately 5 hours of work per day.

Benefits and Salary

Responsibilities
Day-to-day, this role is all about keeping packages moving efficiently through the UPS distribution network. You’ll be responsible for physically handling freight and ensuring each package is accurately sorted, loaded, and tracked — all within a time-sensitive, high-volume environment.
- Load and unload UPS packages into and out of trailers and package cars
- Sort and scan packages accurately to ensure proper routing and delivery
- Stock packages in the appropriate locations within the facility
- Learn and apply UPS’s standardized package handling methods and procedures
- Operate heavy machinery as required to complete tasks safely
- Complete additional tasks as assigned in a fast-paced warehouse setting
Requirements / Skills
