Overnight Associate – Walmart – Woodstock, NB

Walmart Canada’s store on Woodstock Road in Woodstock, New Brunswick is looking for an Overnight Associate to join their team. This is a Regular/Permanent position that plays a key role in keeping store shelves stocked and ready for customers each morning — all before the doors open.

About the Role: Overnight Associate

The Overnight Associate is responsible for the flow of merchandise from receiving through to the sales floor. This includes live unloading of trailers, moving pallets, processing merchandise, and stocking shelves — all with a particular focus on labelling and backroom bin placement that sets this overnight role apart from day and evening shifts. You’ll also help prepare the sales floor for store opening, ensuring signage, features, and fixtures are properly set.

Working as part of a coordinated overnight team, you’ll follow company safety policies and procedures, complete safety sweep logs, and help maintain a clean, hazard-free work environment. Customer service may also be required when customers are present, so a helpful and approachable attitude is always an asset.

Benefits and Salary

The minimum rate of pay for this position starts at $16.05 per hour. Responsibilities

The Overnight Associate at Walmart Woodstock works as part of a team to strategically execute tasks based on workload and overnight operational needs. Every shift contributes directly to a smooth store opening and a fully stocked sales floor for customers the next morning.

• Prepare the sales floor for store opening each morning, including labelling and signage
• Set, merchandise, and sign features throughout the store as required
• Unload trailers and complete live unloading of various types of merchandise
• Pull pallets of merchandise to and from the sales floor for overnight processing
• Label backroom bins and place merchandise — a key differentiator of the overnight role compared to day/evening shifts
• Stock the sales floor as assigned and provide customer service when necessary
• Maintain a safe, clean, and hazard-free work environment by following company policies and completing safety sweep logs
• Ensure displays and fixtures are secure before store opening
