About the Role: Manager, Network Analytics

As the Manager, Network Analytics, you’ll own end-to-end delivery of analytics and AI initiatives — from intake through to execution and release. You’ll lead a team of data analysts, BI developers, data scientists, and data engineers, setting the technical direction while keeping the team focused on delivering high-quality, actionable insights tied directly to business outcomes.

Canadian Tire offers a broadband salary range of $79,000 – $131,000 CAD annually, with a typical hiring range between $90,000 – $130,000 CAD per annum depending on experience, skills, and other factors. Responsibilities

As Manager, Network Analytics, your day-to-day work spans people leadership, project delivery, stakeholder communication, and technical oversight. You’ll be expected to set a clear direction for your team while staying closely connected to business priorities and ensuring every deliverable has a measurable impact.

  • Lead and develop a team of data analysts, BI developers, data scientists, and data engineers — creating clarity around priorities, expectations, and career growth

  • Translate business questions into structured data, analytics, or AI approaches, selecting the right methodology for the problem at hand
  • Own end-to-end delivery of analytics and AI initiatives, managing timelines, dependencies, and resourcing across multiple concurrent projects
  • Partner with senior business leaders to understand strategic objectives and operational challenges, communicating progress, risks, and trade-offs clearly
  • Set technical standards for analytical rigour, data quality, and solution design — reviewing approaches without needing to be a hands-on builder
  • Ensure solutions are maintainable, well-documented, and aligned with enterprise data and AI standards
  • Proactively identify risks and course-correct to keep work on track and aligned to business priorities

Requirements / Skills

The ideal candidate is an experienced analytics or data science leader with a background in retail or field-based operations, strong delivery management capabilities, and the communication skills to influence both technical and non-technical audiences.   • 2+ years of experience leading and managing an analytics or data science team
  • 2+ years supporting retail, store operations, or field-based organizations; prior hands-on analytics or data science experience is preferred
  • Strong project and delivery management skills with a track record of meeting timelines across multiple concurrent initiatives
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and align both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to translate ambiguous business questions into clear data or AI approaches
  • Experience with analytics and data platforms, with exposure to AI-driven use cases and advanced analytics in a business environment
  • Ability to research new technologies and onboard team members effectively
  • SAFe certification is considered an asset
