Responsibilities

As a Letter Carrier with Canada Post, your day is structured around ensuring timely and accurate delivery to customers across your assigned route. From depot preparation to on-road delivery, every step of the job plays a key role in keeping Canadians connected.

Sort and prepare the day’s mail and packages at the depot before heading out on your route
Load and operate a Canada Post postal vehicle safely and responsibly

Lift and carry mail items weighing up to 22.7 kg (50 lb) and carry items up to 15.9 kg (35 lb) regularly throughout the shift

Requirements / Skills

Canada Post is looking for dependable, physically capable candidates who take pride in serving their community. The ideal Delivery Agent is comfortable outdoors in any season, holds a valid driver’s licence, and is available to work on an on-call basis.

Valid Class 5 or Class G driver’s licence with a clean driving record for a minimum of 3 years (driver’s abstract required)
