About the Role: Industrial Electrician

As an Industrial Electrician, you’ll be responsible for the installation, maintenance, testing, and repair of a wide range of electrical and electronic systems across the facility. Your day-to-day will include working with switchgear, transformers, motors, generators, alternators, and hydraulic and pneumatic electrical control systems. Responsibilities

Day-to-day, the Industrial Electrician is responsible for keeping critical electrical systems running safely and efficiently. From routine preventive maintenance to urgent troubleshooting, the work covers a broad range of industrial electrical and electronic systems.

  • Maintain industrial instrumentation and all related devices to ensure continuous operation
  • Replace or repair electrical components as required
  • Test electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage, and resistance
  • Maintain, repair, install, and test switchgear, transformers, switchboard meters, regulators, and reactors
  • Service electrical motors, generators, alternators, industrial storage batteries, and hydraulic and pneumatic electrical control systems
  • Troubleshoot and repair industrial, electrical, and electronic control systems and related devices
  • Interpret electrical code specifications to ensure all work meets regulatory standards
  • Conduct preventive maintenance programs and maintain accurate maintenance records
  • Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics, and electrical code specifications to determine proper equipment installation layouts

Requirements / Skills
