About the Role: Industrial Electrician

Responsibilities
The Industrial Electrician role covers a wide range of electrical maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting tasks. You’ll be expected to work independently and as part of a team to keep industrial systems operational, safe, and up to code.
- Maintain industrial instruments and related devices to ensure consistent operation
- Replace or repair electrical components as required across the facility
- Test electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage, and resistance
- Install, maintain, and repair switchgear, transformers, distribution panel meters, regulators, and reactors
- Service electric motors, generators, alternators, industrial storage batteries, and hydraulic/pneumatic control systems
- Troubleshoot industrial electrical and electronic control systems and related devices
- Interpret electrical code requirements and apply them to daily work
- Execute preventive maintenance programs and maintain accurate maintenance records
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, drawings, and electrical code specifications to determine placement of industrial electrical equipment
