Responsibilities

The Industrial Electrician role covers a wide range of electrical maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting tasks. You’ll be expected to work independently and as part of a team to keep industrial systems operational, safe, and up to code.

  • Maintain industrial instruments and related devices to ensure consistent operation
  • Replace or repair electrical components as required across the facility
  • Test electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage, and resistance
  • Install, maintain, and repair switchgear, transformers, distribution panel meters, regulators, and reactors
  • Service electric motors, generators, alternators, industrial storage batteries, and hydraulic/pneumatic control systems

  • Execute preventive maintenance programs and maintain accurate maintenance records
