About the Role: Food Counter Attendant

As a Food Counter Attendant at Tim Hortons, your day-to-day will involve a mix of customer service and food preparation tasks. You’ll be serving guests at the counter, taking their orders accurately, and ensuring food is properly portioned, wrapped, and packaged for dine-in or take-out. Using both manual and electrical appliances, you’ll help prep simple food items and keep the serving areas stocked and ready.

Working as part of a team, you’ll also be responsible for maintaining food records, stocking refrigerators, and keeping the workspace clean and organized. Benefits and Salary

This position offers a wage of $15.50 to $16.50 per hour (to be negotiated), with approximately 30 hours per week. Responsibilities

• Take customers’ orders accurately and efficiently at the counter
• Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items according to Tim Hortons standards
• Portion and wrap foods for both dine-in and take-out service
• Package take-out food carefully to ensure quality and presentation
• Serve customers at counters or buffet tables in a friendly and timely manner
• Stock refrigerators and salad bars to ensure items are always available
• Keep records of the quantities of food used throughout the shift
• Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs safely
