About the Role: Food Counter Attendant

As a Food Counter Attendant, you’ll be responsible for a variety of tasks that keep the restaurant running efficiently. From taking customer orders and serving at the counter, to portioning and wrapping food items, heating and finishing simple food items, and packaging take-out orders, this role keeps you active and engaged throughout your shift.

You’ll also play a key part in maintaining a clean and well-stocked workspace, including stocking refrigerators, using both manual and electrical appliances to prep foodstuffs, and keeping accurate records of food quantities used. Teamwork and reliability are essential in this environment.

Benefits and Salary

This position pays between $15.50 and $16.50 per hour (to be negotiated), with approximately 30 hours per week. Responsibilities

As a Food Counter Attendant at Tim Hortons, your day-to-day tasks will revolve around providing efficient service and supporting kitchen operations. Each responsibility contributes to keeping the restaurant clean, stocked, and ready to serve guests quickly and accurately.

• Take customers’ orders accurately at the counter or buffet table and ensure a positive guest experience
• Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items according to Tim Hortons’ standards
• Portion and wrap foods and package take-out orders for customers
• Stock refrigerators and salad bars to ensure items are always available and fresh
• Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs safely and efficiently
• Keep records of the quantities of food used to support inventory management
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the food prep and service areas throughout your shift
