As a Field Sales Manager (FSM) on the Google Cloud Enterprise team, you’ll be responsible for building and sustaining a high-performance sales culture. Responsibilities
In this role, you’ll be at the helm of a field sales team driving enterprise growth for Google Cloud in Quebec. Your day-to-day will blend team coaching and development, executive relationship building, and active involvement in strategic account planning. These responsibilities are critical to accelerating Google Cloud’s footprint in the enterprise market.
- Lead and coach a team of Field Sales Representatives, with a focus on talent strategy, skills development, and consultative selling techniques
- Monitor and influence progress against strategic account plans, ensuring the team exceeds business goals and drives customer satisfaction throughout the full sales cycle
- Forecast accurately by tracking business performance data and providing timely, insight-driven reporting to sales leadership
- Develop a strong performance culture through data-driven coaching, performance management, and career development support for team members
- Build executive relationships with enterprise customers, understanding their technology footprint, growth plans, and business drivers to influence long-term strategic direction
- Leverage technical expertise in cloud, data, and AI to lead compelling conversations about Google Cloud’s unique value proposition and how it addresses real business challenges
Requirements / Skills
Google is seeking a candidate with deep enterprise sales leadership experience and a proven track record in quota-carrying cloud or software sales. You’ll need to be equally comfortable coaching a high-performing team as you are engaging directly with C-suite clients — all while communicating fluently in both French and English.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in a relevant field
- 10+ years of experience in quota-carrying cloud or software sales, or consultative account management at a B2B software company
- Full sales cycle management experience including pipeline management, forecasting, reporting, and commercial negotiations
- Leadership experience in people management, team lead, mentorship, or coaching capacities
- Bilingual fluency in both French and English to support enterprise clients in Quebec and across the region
- Preferred: Experience supporting teams in expanding existing accounts, securing new customers, and accelerating consumption business
- Preferred: Familiarity with current cloud technology trends and the ability to articulate Google Cloud’s differentiators against competitors
