Field LH Support Rep-5 – FedEx – Woodbridge, ON
Based out of Woodbridge, Ontario, this Field LH Support Rep-5 position with Federal Express Corporation Canada is a part-time opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-moving logistics environment. If you have a sharp eye for detail and a solid understanding of dispatch operations, this early-morning shift role could be a strong fit.
The core of this role revolves around linehaul dispatch — coordinating transportation equipment, managing trailer movements, and keeping freight flowing on schedule. You’ll work within FedEx’s Transportation Management System (TMS) to log dispatch events, monitor yard inventory, and ensure that every trailer is accounted for and loaded to capacity.
About the Role: Field LH Support Rep-5
As a Field LH Support Rep, you’ll be responsible for executing the dispatch of transportation equipment in line with the Linehaul plan. That means coordinating cargo shipments to maximize trailer volume, verifying load and unload statuses through yard checks, and entering all relevant dispatch events into the TMS to support on-time delivery and pickup of trailers across your assigned area.
Beyond the day-to-day dispatch tasks, you’ll play a role in maintaining safety standards and operational integrity. This includes communicating Department of Transportation (DOT) roadside violations to management, investigating schedule delays and equipment failures, and implementing contingency plans when breakdowns occur. You’ll also support internal audit activity and compile data for management reporting — making this a role that touches multiple layers of the operation.
