Warehouses for Other Companies: DHL Supply Chain
DHL Supply Chain runs warehouses and distribution centres for client companies. The hourly postings are for material handlers, forklift operators and clerks who handle operations or inventory. They are full-time, and the shift is written into the posting: days, evenings or nights.
Forklift work does not always need a certificate on day one. Several postings accept either a forklift certificate or completing a forklift training program within the first 30 days. The equipment named most often is the reach truck. What they do ask for is time on the equipment, from six months to a year, often marked as preferred. Some postings list SAP experience as an asset.
Supervisor postings ask for one to three years of operations or industry experience, and the education line ranges from a high school equivalent to a bachelor’s degree.
Office Roles in Freight: DHL Global Forwarding
DHL Global Forwarding is the freight forwarding side of DHL.
