About the Role: Delivery Driver

As a UPS Delivery Driver, your day revolves around getting packages where they need to go — safely, efficiently, and on time. You’ll be driving a UPS vehicle on scheduled routes, lifting, loading, and unloading packages, and maintaining accurate records of every delivery. The work schedule runs Tuesday to Saturday, with shift starts at 9:30 AM on Tuesdays and 9:15 AM on Saturdays, and shifts running 8–10 hours per day.

This is a physically demanding role that requires the ability to lift up to 70 lbs unassisted and sustain that level of activity throughout a full shift. You’ll represent UPS directly in the community, so following the company’s appearance guidelines, wearing the provided uniform, and delivering strong customer service are all part of the package. UPS takes safe and defensive driving seriously — training is provided and compliance is expected.

Benefits and Salary

This position starts at $20.00 per hour, with a guaranteed wage progression through the Union Collective Agreement bringing you up to $42.33 per hour after 48 months of service. You’re paid weekly via direct deposit every Friday. Benefits kick in after one year and include extended health care, vision, dental, and life insurance, plus a pension plan and paid vacation that scales from 2 weeks at 1 year all the way to 6 weeks after 25 years. Responsibilities

Day to day, a UPS Delivery Driver is responsible for running efficient delivery routes while maintaining the high service standards that UPS customers rely on. Every stop matters — from the accuracy of your package records to how you represent the brand at the door.

  • Deliver and pick up UPS packages from residential and commercial addresses efficiently and on schedule
  • Follow safe and defensive driving methods as trained by UPS to ensure road safety at all times
  • Assist with loading and unloading trucks as required before and after routes
  • Record, track, and maintain accurate information about all delivered and picked-up packages
  • Represent UPS professionally by wearing the company-provided uniform and complying with appearance guidelines
  • Navigate routes effectively using maps, GPS devices, and map books to find destinations reliably
