About the Role: Delivery Driver (Class 5)
As a Package Delivery Driver with UPS, your day starts between 9 AM and noon and keeps you active for approximately 40 to 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday. You’ll be navigating residential areas, managing your delivery route efficiently, and providing quality customer contact at every stop. New drivers may be assigned to cover multiple areas, so familiarity with the region and the ability to read maps are definite assets.
UPS has clear appearance and conduct standards that all drivers are expected to uphold. A clean driver’s abstract is required — no at-fault accidents in the last three years and no traffic violations in the last 12 months. All candidates will need to provide their driver’s abstract before completing the road test. Benefits and Salary

Responsibilities
Day to day, a UPS Delivery Driver is responsible for managing a residential delivery route safely and efficiently. These responsibilities require both physical stamina and strong customer service skills to ensure every package reaches its destination on time and in good condition.
- Deliver packages to residential customers in Trois-Rivières and surrounding areas on an assigned route
- Navigate multiple residential zones using map books or assigned routing tools
- Maintain professional customer contact at each stop, representing UPS’s standards of service
- Handle packages safely, including lifting up to 70 lbs. unassisted and up to 150 lbs. with assistance
- Adhere to UPS appearance guidelines and company conduct standards at all times
- Operate a delivery vehicle safely and responsibly in compliance with provincial traffic regulations
- Adapt to varying workloads as working hours depend on daily parcel volume
Requirements / Skills
