Apple offers a base pay range of $122,300 to $183,600 CAD for this role, with your exact pay determined by your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. From developing pan-Canadian growth strategies to building performance reporting frameworks, the Business Development Lead plays a central part in how Apple’s accessory and Beats categories grow across Canada’s retail landscape.

  • Lead the development of a pan-Canadian category growth strategy for Beats and Apple-branded Accessories, translating priorities into a channel plan that drives meaningful results
  • Serve as the Canada-to-Worldwide interface for Beats and Accessories business teams, owning quarterly business reviews and representing the Canadian strategy globally
  • Partner with cross-functional teams including Finance, Marketing, Operations, and Legal to bring new initiatives from concept to full-scale execution
  • Identify whitespace through rigorous cross-retailer analysis of sell-through trends, market share, competitive dynamics, and consumer behaviour
  • Lead Canada’s readiness for new product introductions by translating global go-to-market strategies into retailer-specific ranging, timing, and positioning plans
  • Build scalable processes and performance reporting frameworks that give leadership clear visibility into initiative progress and business health
  • Develop financial models to validate the business case for new initiatives and prepare persuasive presentations for senior leadership and external partners

Requirements / Skills

  • 8+ years of experience in business development, strategy, or analytics roles
  • Advanced Excel proficiency with demonstrated experience building robust financial models
  • Advanced Keynote proficiency and a proven ability to develop and present strategic concepts to senior leadership in large corporate environments
  • Proven track record managing complex, data-driven projects with multiple cross-functional partners
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills with the ability to influence without authority across teams
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Preferred: Experience in management or strategy consulting, retail, telecommunications, or consumer electronics; familiarity with Generative AI and Tableau; strong financial acumen including forecasting and ROI analysis
