At UPS, we’re looking for an Automotive Mechanic in Kitchener, Ontario to help maintain and repair our vehicle fleet and ensure we keep things moving efficiently.
This is a permanent full-time position with consistent hours Monday through Friday, from 6:30 PM to 2:30 AM, and requires flexibility with start and finish times. You’ll be part of a team responsible for keeping our diesel, propane, CNG, and gasoline vehicles in top condition.
About the role: Automotive Mechanic
As a 310T Auto Mechanic, you’ll inspect, maintain, and repair a wide range of UPS fleet vehicles. Your duties will include operating and testing company vehicles both on-site and on public roads, performing routine maintenance, and conducting diagnostic tests.
This role is based at 65 Trillium Park Place, Kitchener, ON N2E 1X1. You’ll need to demonstrate strong organizational and troubleshooting skills and be able to lift packages up to 70 lbs. The position requires possession of essential trade tools, and you must successfully pass a pre-employment road test.

Requirements / Skills
To succeed in this role, you must meet the following:
- Valid Red Seal 310T license
- Clean Driver’s Abstract with no violations in the past 12 months, and no more than 2 in the last 36 months
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs unassisted
- Possession of essential trade tools and equipment
- Must pass a pre-employment road test
- Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills
- Comfortable working in cold/hot environments
- Flexibility and readiness to work evening/night shifts
