About the Role: Audiologist / Hearing Instrument Practitioner
As the licensed clinician at Costco’s Hearing Centre in Regina, you will conduct comprehensive hearing evaluations and guide members through the entire hearing aid selection and dispensing process. Responsibilities
This role covers the complete clinical workflow of a hearing centre practitioner, from intake to follow-up. You’ll be the sole licensed clinician on-site, so strong organizational skills and the ability to manage your caseload independently are essential to delivering quality care every day.
- Conduct full hearing assessments including history taking, air and bone conduction thresholds, and speech testing for the purpose of dispensing hearing aids
- Perform hearing aid evaluations, recommendations, fittings, verification, and validation of hearing instrument performance
- Carry out impression taking, shell repair, and hearing instrument modification as required
- Adhere to all infection control, privacy, and confidentiality standards in compliance with provincial regulations
- Maintain accurate and complete clinical records and documentation for all member interactions
- Stay informed on all products and services available through the Hearing Centre to provide knowledgeable guidance
- Escort members into the hearing testing facility and manage access to testing rooms as required
- Provide the highest standard of member service, including strong communication and counselling throughout each appointment
- Assist in other areas of the warehouse as needed
Requirements / Skills
Costco is seeking a fully qualified and provincially registered hearing health professional who brings both technical precision and genuine care to their work. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and committed to putting members first at every step of the care process.
- Master’s Degree in Audiology OR registration/licensure as a Hearing Instrument Practitioner with full authority to dispense hearing aids in Saskatchewan
- Registered (or eligible for registration) with the relevant provincial regulatory College and/or Member in Good Standing with the Provincial Association
- Authorized (or eligible) to provide government-funded hearing services where applicable
- Clinical experience in audiology or hearing instrument dispensing is preferred
- Attention to detail and technical aptitude with strong organizational and time management abilities
- Strong communication and counselling skills to guide members effectively through the hearing care process
- Proficient computer skills for documentation and clinical record-keeping
